In Europe, Saas-Fee and Sölden are currently the frontrunners, boasting SnowSure Scores of 35 and 33 respectively. Saas-Fee's substantial snow base of 173cm is complemented by a promising forecast. North America's Lake Louise offers a respectable SnowSure Score of 31, with Whistler Blackcomb not far behind, maintaining a robust base of 160cm. Despite the late season, North America holds steady. Asia, on the other hand, is in a transitional phase, as Southern Hemisphere resorts like Cardrona and Niseko prepare for incoming snow. While Europe and North America are neck-and-neck, Europe edges out with its impressive snow bases and consistent forecasts.

Overnight, Europe saw the most significant snowfall with Livigno, Italy receiving 7cm of fresh powder. The US also enjoyed a dusting, with Telluride gaining 5cm. Saas-Fee in Switzerland continued to enhance its already impressive base with an additional 4cm. Italian resorts Val Gardena and Alpe di Siusi also welcomed 4cm of fresh snow, providing skiers with excellent conditions for the day ahead.

Looking ahead, Europe remains the focal point for upcoming snow activity, with Saas-Fee expecting another 17cm over the next two weeks. North America is set for a quieter period, with Lake Louise anticipating just 5cm. In the Southern Hemisphere, the anticipation builds as New Zealand's resorts prepare for a promising start to their winter season, with cold fronts expected to bring in fresh snow soon.
